The Mum, Mentor & Flour Nerd Behind The Sourdough Way

It started with a simple goal: feed my family better bread.


No long ingredient lists, no additives just real food, made from scratch.

But when I first tried to bake sourdough?

What I got was sticky dough, flat loaves, and a whole lot of guessing.


I wasn’t a trained baker. I was a busy mum of three, figuring it out between school drop-offs and dinner prep.

Still, something about the process felt grounding.


Flour, water, time — it was slow, satisfying, and deeply human I kept at it.

Eventually, my loaves turned golden and crusty. And with each one, my confidence grew.

I've now baked over 1,000+ loaves (and flopped more than a few), and what started in my home kitchen has become a simple, step-by-step way to help others skip the stress and bake beautiful sourdough from day one.
