Ready to bake real sourdough that’s full of flavour, goodness, and joy, without the fuss?
Whether you’re completely new to sourdough or looking to finally master the basics with confidence, this 4-hour hands-on workshop is the perfect place to begin.
Join me, Kayla, at our gorgeous new space inside Rawsons Showroom, Plympton Park, for a relaxed, small-group workshop designed to teach you the real sourdough method, simple, nourishing, and achievable at home.
Together, we’ll explore every stage of the traditional sourdough process: from understanding your starter and mixing the dough, to fermentation, shaping, and baking. We’ll bake a prepared dough in class so you can see and taste the final result, then you’ll make your very own dough from scratch to take home and bake the next day.
We’ll also have a lot of fun in the kitchen making some of our most-loved sourdough extras: • Crispy sourdough crackers • Golden, fluffy focaccia • Brown butter sourdough brownies (yes, they’re as good as they sound!) • …and a few surprise bonus ideas to inspire your home baking!
What's Included:
Your very own bubbly, active sourdough starter to take home
A printed brochure with my signature sourdough bread recipe + essential care tips
A beautifully designed eBook covering everything from the workshop
All my favourite timelines, baking tips, and troubleshooting advice
A hands-on experience + plenty of delicious tastings throughout the day
A new level of confidence to bake nourishing sourdough at home
Why You'll Love It:
This workshop is warm, welcoming, and full of heart. You won’t just leave with a recipe, you’ll leave with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create real sourdough in your own kitchen. It’s a wonderful way to connect with a meaningful tradition, nourish your family, and have a whole lot of fun doing it. And… the brownies alone are worth coming for!
And yes.. come hungry.

Kayla xx
